Ruach רוח in Hebrew means wind. But what comes with wind? Energy and spirit!

Rhythm ‘n’ Ruach was founded in 2011 by Shelley Dean to engage parents and children through Jewish music and movement. Research-based practices help children develop their innate rhythmic and musical abilities, while also keeping the vibrant spark of Judaism alive with their families!

Rhythm 'N' Ruach is a way to connect families to Judaism through upbeat, high energy music and movement; through participation in music with real instruments, such as, strings, percussion, shakers, tambourines and singing. Rhythm 'N' Ruach intertwines Jewish music and rhythm instruments, along with offering fantastic programming that is engaging, fun, and of course, educational. Our bright colors help encourage the "joyful learner," teaching new Hebrew words and instruments in each class, while engaging both visual and auditory learning. Rhythm 'N' Ruach works with schools and other educational venues to teach music with a focus on middot (character traits).

It's a great hands-on tool to connect with Judaism.
